Since moving to Arizona in 1996, Carlos has worked with second language learners in grades K-12. He travels throughout Arizona, other Southwest states, as well as Central and South America. His photography reflects his love and respect for the natural environment, people, and their cultures.

Carlos co-founded a travel company that specializes in global education, language immersion, and nature-based experiences. Travel to Learn provides authentic cultural and social experiences giving participants a genuine view of another country.
